NYSERDA seeks to procure Offshore Wind Renewable Energy Certificates associated with 2,000 megawatts to 4,640 megawatts of offshore wind generation coordinated with local and private investments in New York-based offshore wind supply chain infrastructure. This includes leveraging up to $300 million of New York State funding in pursuit of New York State’s goal of developing 9,000 megawatts of offshore wind energy by 2035, and achieving economy wide deep decarbonization by 2050.
