Historical Research and Writing Services

The City of College Station, Texas is soliciting proposals for a published history of the City of College Station, Texas from 1988 through 2023 per the details included in the Background/General Information section of this Request for Proposal 23-007.

It is expected that the selected offeror will utilize the historical record available in the City’s “Project Hold” and additional resources such as the archives of Texas A&M University, personal interviews with the City’s Historical Preservation Committee, and other published materials such as “The Eagle,” and “College Station” by Glenn D. Davis in the Images of America series by Acadia Publishers. Additional research should be conducted and involve examining written records, artifacts, oral histories, and any other sources found to be available.

Opening for this project is November 18th, at 2:00 PM CT, 2022.
