CRANE TRAINING SERVICES

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is to train SMUD personnel in the most current operating procedures and OSHA regulations related to proper crane operations, such as, Equipment Set-Up, Cribbing, Signalperson & Rigging, and Crane Operator certification. The training is for Mobile Cranes and/or Overhead Cranes, such as, gantry, bridge, and jib cranes, but not limited to, as needed by the location of the facility. The successful proposer will be working with SMUD Training Support from the Sacramento Power Academy and Safety personnel to develop state-of-the-art procedures and training methods at SMUD’s Sacramento Power Academy East Sacramento locations, and SMUD’s Hydro Facility in Pollock Pines.
