Short-term, Non-credit Professional Training and Certification Programs

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of short-term, non-credit professional training and certification programs from Cengage Learning Inc as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods and/or services. OSU Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) program requires an external partner who has the capacity, flexibility, and wide subject matter offerings to provide timely and strategic professional training and certification programs for OSU's local, state and regional clientele and their needs. Cengage Learning Inc. is the only provider that offers an expansive, adaptable catalog that covers the various needs of the PACE program. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website.
