Description
Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of audiovisual instrumentation integrated with the OptiTrack optical tracking camera system from One Diversified as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods and/or services. The audiovisual instrumentation must be integrated to operate with the Optitrack optical tracking camera system to collect high resolution and synchronized visual and auditory information. The size of the room (33ft x 18 ft x 8 ft) and need for full coverage requires specific equipment to operate effectively in a small space with high control and operability with a specialized cable structure due to HVAC infrastructure. Supplier must have specialized knowledge to design and test functionality given the constraints and customized build with the OptiTrack equipment. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website. Appeals must be submitted to Procurement, Contracts and Materials Management at pacs@oregonstate.edu by March 18, 2024 at 11:30 am, PST. For additional information please contact Brian Kinsey by email at brian.kinsey@oregonstate.edu or by telephone at (541) 737-1027.
