Description
Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of upgrading Siemens fire alarm panels on the east side of Reser Stadium. Siemens devices are needed to connect to the Siemens panel. Siemens devices are proprietary. As part of the Reser West Side Project, Siemens panels were installed and in order to have the fire monitoring of the whole stadium both sides need to communicate. Siemens was previously installed in the east side and this is an upgrade of the system already installed. If the system goes down the building will not be able to be occupied. A new system would call for replacing the newly installed system on the west side. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website. Appeals must be submitted to
