Alief ISD is seeking pricing proposals for Stop Loss Coverage Self-Funded Health Plan. Deadline for submission is Friday, October 13, 2023, 2:00 PM CT. Electronic submission of bid response is preferred . No faxed, emailed or late proposals will be considered. The proposal will not be publicly opened; only the names of vendors submitting proposals will be available. The contract will be awarded with the initial coverage effective date of January 1, 2024; the plan year is January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. The District shall have the option of renewing this contract for a maximum of four (4) additional one (1) year terms to be awarded in one (1) year increments. The District has retained Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc. (GBS), to assist with the RFP process. Proposals shall be net of all consultant/agent/broker commissions. The District is not requesting the services of an agent or broker. Please carefully review the solicitation and all attached specifications, exhibits and informational documents to ensure a complete response submission. The District believes this solicitation document provides all necessary and accurate information required to facilitate vendor response submission; however, this is not to be considered in any way as a warranty. It is the sole responsibility of the proposers to ensure that they have all information necessary to complete submission of their proposals. Requests for additional information or clarification on information contained in the RFP document must be submitted via the Questions Tab within this solicitation. Response to any questions submitted will be posted periodically within the Questions Tab. Questions must be submitted via the Questions Tab no later than October 06, 2023 at 12 PM CT. Contract award is anticipated at the November 2023 school board meeting. The successful proposer will be notified by a “Letter of Award” issued by the Alief ISD Purchasing Department.
