Unemployment Compensation Insurance

Alief Independent School District is seeking Unemployment Compensation Insurance for the plan term of October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2025, with option to renew for a third year ending September 30, 2026. The District is not requesting the services of a consultant/agent/broker. All proposals must be submitted with a notation of the dollar amount or percentage of the commission included in the rates.
Electronic proposals will be received until the d eadline of 2:00 PM June 30, 2023 CST , after which time the names of vendors submitting proposals will be available. No faxed, emailed or late bids will be accepted . Please carefully review the Scope of Work/Specifications and all attached documents to ensure a complete response submission.

The District believes that the data contained in this RFP is sufficient for the preparation of responses to this RFP. The information is believed to be accurate and is based on the latest available information, but is not to be considered in any way as a warranty.

Requests for additional information or clarification on information contained in the RFP document must be submitted via the Questions Tab within the electronic bid opportunity no later than 12 P.M. CST on 6/23/2023. Response to questions will be posted in the Questions Tab periodically. Addenda may be incorporated as part of the proposal and shall become part of the Contract Documents. The receipt of all Addenda shall be acknowledged on the Scope of Work/Specification form. Alief ISD reserves the right to waive all formalities, is the sole judge of quality and suitability, and may reject any or all proposals.

The District anticipates awarding this contract at the August 2023 school board meeting. All prices are to be effective for two (2) years from plan origination date with an option to renew for one (1) additional year with mutual consent, with renewal rates to be received by the District ninety (90) days prior to renewal date. In the event the proposal expires before another proposal is executed, proposal can be extended on a month-to-month basis with mutual agreement. Either party may terminate this agreement at any time by giving a sixty (60) day written notice.
