Stone Arch Inspection Divers
Brief description: MnDOT has a construction contract State Project (SP) 2726-81 for repairing the Stone Arch Bridge over the Mississippi River in Minneapolis. Piers 1 through 11 (excluding Pier 4) have repairs that the Construction Contractor will be repairing via underwater methods. The bridge will need to be inspected during the construction project for quality assurance purposes using underwater divers with this Contract. The underwater construction work includes concrete surface repair; rout and mortar historic masonry; repointing historic elements; and placing random riprap at the piers.
