Sealed proposals will be received by the Paulding County Department of Finance, 240 Constitution Blvd

FY2024 Computer Purchase
Bid number 24025-4501
Bids will be opened and read aloud at the 2nd Floor Board of Commissioners Meeting Room located at
240 Constitution Blvd, Dallas, Georgia 30132 at shortly after 10:00 a.m. EST. Proposals received after
the designated time will not be considered. The OWNER of the project is the Paulding County Board of
Commissioners.
The approximate extent and character of the Work/Goods/Services generally described as follows:
The purchase of Lenovo branded computer/laptop hardware.
Bidders shall inform themselves concerning Georgia Laws and comply with the same.
Bidding Documents are available for purchase for a $25.00 non-refundable deposit and by sending an
email to purchase@paulding.gov with bidders contact information. Paper copies are also available at
the Paulding County Finance Office, 240 Constitution Blvd. Dallas, GA 30132, phone number
770-443-7512. The OWNER is not obligated to consider a Bidder’s proposal, if Bidder is not on record
with the Issuing Office.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by
the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of
the OWNER in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms
of the contract or, in lieu thereof, in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or cash in equal
amount.
Payment bonds with the executed Agreement meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents
and executed on the forms attached to the Agreement. The terms and time for payment are set forth
in the Agreement.
Surety and insurance companies must have an AM Best rating of A-6 or greater, be listed in the
Federal Registry of Companies holding Certificates of Authority and Acceptable Sureties on Federal
Bonds, be licensed by the Georgia Insurance Department and the Georgia Secretary of State to do
business in the State of Georgia.
All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the day of the Bid opening, but
OWNER may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to that date.
Each bid must be submitted in a SEALED ENVELOPE, addressed to the OWNER. Each sealed
envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as, “FY2024 Computer Purchase.” If
bid is forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in a separate mailing
envelope to the attention of the OWNER at the address previously given.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities and re-advertise.
