Interviewing Skills Workshop for Adults

The Contractor must provide workshop training and content geared toward adult job seekers and career transitioners focused on how to interview successfully. Workshops must be offered monthly. Occasionally, workshops may be offered more than once a month. Monthly job searching workshops must be presented virtually, initially. This delivery method may switch to in-person later. In-person workshops will be held within Montgomery County, MD and the specific addresses will be designated by the Contract Administrator. The primary objective of the workshop is to teach adult participants how to prepare for and interview with confidence. MCPL prefers workshop to not exceed a total of 2 hours in length. Specifically, workshops must cover:

1. Steps to take to fully prepare for in-person and virtual interviews,

2. Answering common / difficult interview questions, and,

3. For virtual interviews – picking appropriate backgrounds and lighting.

It is the Contractor’s responsibility to have access to all the equipment needed to present workshops virtually and in-person.
