RFI #23-07 - RFI 23-07 AB 109 COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS PARTNERSHIP (CCP), SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
All questions, requests for clarification, and requests for additional information regarding this RFI must be submitted to Julia Padilla. All questions and requests must be submitted by e-mail to jupadilla@sjgov.org . Responses to this RFI must be received no later than June 19,2023, PDT on or before 2:00 pm, PDT. Responses, including any attachments, should be submitted by email to jupadilla@sjgov.org. The San Joaquin County CCP is issuing this RFI to identify local community organizations, agencies, and individuals who have the capacity and experience to pro vide innovative and promising programs, services, and solutions to address the needs identified by the AB109 Subcommittee Report. Based on the feedback received through this RFI, the CCP will have a better understanding of what programs and service providers are available. This information will assist to identify the best procurement method(s) to consider moving forward, should the CCP desire to move forward with program expansion. This RFI is solely for information gathering purposes and does not constitute a formal procurement process nor does it represent a commitment by San Joaquin County to issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) or Request for Proposals (RFP) in the future. Any work performed as part of the RFI is not billable nor requires any financial commitment from San Joaquin County. Identified Needs Categories Below are the six Identified Needs categories referenced in the AB109 Subcommittee Report: In-custody Programs and Services: Services designed to prepare inmates for successful re-entry into the community and improve their access to essential resources upon release. (i.e., Pre-trial services, transition preparation, family support services, etc.) Housing Assistance: Programs providing emergency, transitional, or permanent housing solutions for AB109 clients. (i.e., Emergency housing, transitional housing, permanent housing, rental assistance, sober living facilities, residential treatment facilities, etc.) Work/Vocation Programs: Initiatives that offer job training, education, and employment support to facilitate successful reintegration. Programs for Families: Services that cater to the unique needs of families impacted by incarceration and probation. (i.e., childcare, family classes, counseling, etc.) Programs for Women: Gender-responsive programs tailored to the specific needs of female AB109 clients. Pro-Social and "Other" Innovative Programs: Initiatives that promote positive social behaviors and address the diverse needs of AB109 clients using innovative approaches.
