RFP #23-29 - Public Safety Med-Net Legacy Equipment Replacement

Scope of Work: The County is seeking to accomplish six objectives in this project: A. Replace the existing legacy Med Net radio equipment, and antenna systems so that the field-to-hospital and hospital-to-field communication systems can be supported and maintained by qualified service providers for a minimum of seven years. 1) Must meet current County standards for Emergency Medical Services Radio (EMS) of Tait TB9400 series hardware. B. Ensure adequate coverage around each designated location, in accordance with each FCC license. C. Provide the ability for all subscribers to hear each other transmit (repeat) on Med Net channels. D. Set appropriate audio levels for tone remotes. E. Preserve current audio interface and insure appropriate audio levels, to each hospital's existing recording solution. F. Provide and install 6 receivers for the purpose of receiving Med channels 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8, utilizing existing backhaul (E&M), and existing receive multi-coupler. Provide additional backhaul capacity if required/recommended.
