RFP # 2236-01 A/E Roof and Envelope Upgrades at Franklin Field Development

The Boston Housing Authority (BHA) is seeking services of a qualified A/E team headed by an architect to provide design, commissioning, and construction administration services for Roof and envelope upgrades; including exterior cladding, insulation, window replacement and ventilation at Franklin Field Buildings 7-13. The estimated project construction cost (“EPCC”) is $12,000,000 which excludes a 10% construction contingency, and excludes the estimated A/E fee. Funding for this project is provided by U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and other funds. Three (3) copies of the complete proposal, along with one (1) electronic copy of their proposal on CD-R, or DVD-R media or on a non-returnable USB flash drive in a single file Adobe Acrobat PDF format must be submitted by April 26, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at, the Boston Housing Authority, Purchasing Department, 56 Chauncy Street (Housing Service Center), Boston, MA 02111. A Pre-proposal meeting and site visit will be conducted on April 10, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. beginning at the management office located at 100 Ames Street, Dorchester, MA 02124. Questions or requests for modifications regarding this RFP will be accepted in writing ONLY and must be submitted via email to bids@bostonhousing.org seven (7) calendar days before the deadline for receipt of proposals. The BHA reserves the right to reject any proposals and waive any informalities if it be in the public interest to do so.
