Qualifications:
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of City Commissioners, City of Bismarck, at the office of the City Administrator, 221 North 5th St., Bismarck, ND 58501 until 3:00 PM CT, May 24, 2023. All responsive bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 4:00 PM CT, on May 24, 2023 at the office of the City Administrator for the furnishing of materials, labor, equipment and skill required for the
construction of US-83, 64TH Ave Improvements, HC 161 and incidental items in and for said City of Bismarck.

Special Requirements:
All bids will be contained in a sealed envelope, as above provided; plainly marked showing that such envelope contains a bid for the above project. In addition, the bidder shall place upon the exterior of such envelope the following information:
1. The name of the bidder
2. Separate envelope containing bid bond and a copy of North Dakota Contractor's License or certificate of renewal.
3. Acknowledgement of the Addenda.

Miscellaneous:
Work shall consist of the following types:
Pavement Milling, Removal of Bituminous Surfacing, Traffic Control, Common Excavation – Type A, Borrow-Excavation, Topsoil, Erosion Control, Concrete Median Pavement, Aggregate Base, Asphaltic Cement Pavement, Reinforced Concrete Pipe & Flared End Sections, Pipe Conduit Jacked or Bored, Permanent Traffic Control Signage, Preformed Patterned Pavement Marking, Crash Cushion, Lighting System A, Traffic Signal System – Site 1, IT System, Interim Traffic
Signals, Seeding Class II, and related items.
Interim completion date for signals: 4/1/24
Substantial completion date for paving: 11/3/23
Final completion date: 8/2/24
