Bid 22-52, Construction ? FYV Fuel Farm Rehabilitation Re-Bid
The City of Fayetteville, AR is accepting electronic sealed bids from properly licensed professionals for the construction
of the Fuel Farm Rehabilitation project at Fayetteville ? Drake Field Airport. The project includes, but is not limited to,
modification to and addition of various components associated the existing fuel farm facility including refueling rack shutoff system, online inventory management system, Jet-A offload check valve, overfill prevention valves, relaxation chambers, 250 gpm pumps and motors, refueling rack hose, sump pumps, emergency fuel shutoff system
improvements, tank suction line improvement, new fuel inspection awning, and tank sandblasting and painting as shown
on the plans and indicated in the specifications. This is a re-bid from Bid 22-32.
Bidding documents, plans, plan holders, and addenda shall be obtained at the City of Fayetteville Purchasing Division’s
electronic bidding platform at www.fayetteville-ar.gov/bids . All bids shall be received by Tuesday, November 01, 2022 before 2:00 PM, local time utilizing the City’s electronic bidding platform. All bids shall be received prior to the bid deadline. A public bid opening will be conducted shortly after the deadline at City Hal, 113 W. Mountain St., Fayetteville, AR 72701 in Room 111. The bid opening will also be livestreamed at
https://www.youtube.com/user/cityoffayettevillear . Late or misdirected bids shall not be accepted. The City of Fayetteville shall not be responsible for lost or misdirected bids, or failure of bidder’s technical equipment.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Drake Field Terminal
Building, 4500 S. School, Fayetteville, AR 72701. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
All bids shall be submitted in accordance with the attached specifications and bid documents attached hereto. Each bidder is required to fill in every blank and shall supply all information requested; failure to do so may be used as basis of rejection.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier’s check from a bank doing business in the State of Arkansas or a corporate bid bond in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount bid. A one hundred percent (100%)
performance and payment bond is required with the contract awarded and shall be file marked by the Washington
County Circuit Clerk’s Office upon receipt to the City.
A current and valid contractor’s license from the State of Arkansas Contractor’s Licensing Board is required at the time
of bid. Bidders shall be qualified to do business and licensed in accordance with all applicable laws of the state and local governments where the Project is located.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive irregularities therein, and all Bidders shall agree that
such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the City for any damage or claim brought by any Bidder because of such rejections, nor shall the Bidders seek any recourse of any kind against the City because of such rejections. The filing of any Bid in response to this invitation shall constitute an agreement of the Bidder to these conditions.
Pursuant to Ark. Code Annotated §22-9-203, The City of Fayetteville encourages all qualified small, minority and women
business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. Also, City of Fayetteville encourages all general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority and women business enterprises. Bids must remain in effect for 60 days after the bid opening date.
