Conway County Regional Water Distribution District
Separate sealed bids for 24” Raw Water Transmission Main, HWEI Project No. 2022113B, will be received by the Conway County Regional Water Distribution District, at the Conway County Regional Water Distribution District Offices until 10:00 a.m. (Local Time), Tuesday, April 9, 2024, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall be addressed Conway County Regional Water Distribution District, 30 H2O Drive, Plumerville, Arkansas 72127 and shall be labeled Bid for 24” Raw Water Transmission Main, HWEI Project No. 2022113B. Bidders are to include their Arkansas License number on the outside of their sealed bid. Any bid received after the scheduled opening time will be returned unopened.
The project includes the construction of approximately 21,400 linear feet of 24” HDPE and 450 linear feet of 16” HDPE raw water main installed by open trenching, approximately 1,000 linear feet of 24” HDPE raw water main installed by horizontal directional drilling, 160 linear feet of 24” HDPE raw water main installed in steel encasement by dry boring, isolation valves, clearing and grubbing, connections to existing raw water lines, tracer wire test stations, manual air release valves, fire hydrant assembly, flush valve assembly, concrete anchor collars, and all appurtenances to complete the project as shown on the plans and indicated in the specifications.
Prospective Bidders must download contract documents through Quest Construction Data Network (CDN). This can be done via link on www.hawkins-weir.com/bidding-info and/or at www.QuestCDN.com . Quest CDN is a web-based platform for advertisements, bid document distribution, plan holder lists, and all information pertaining to the bid. Prospective Bidders should register at www.QuestCDN.com for a free ‘Regular’ membership. Enter Quest number 9037620 to access bidding information on the search page. There is a $22.00 non-refundable download delivery fee for a PDF copy (electronic) of the bidding documents. Bidders are responsible for any reproduction costs of the purchased contract documents. Bids will not be accepted from any Prospective Bidder who has not purchased contract documents through Quest CDN. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
The contract is NOT subject to Buy America requirements (as specified in 23 U.S.C. 313 and 23 CFR 635.410).
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
All bidders must be licensed under the terms of Act 150 of the 1965 Acts of the Arkansas Legislature, including subsequent amendments, and considered by the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board to be classified as a General Contractor for the classification required to perform the work identified as part of the project.
This publication was paid for by the Conway County Regional Water Distribution District, and the cost of the publication is $499.26 per Arkansas Act 954 of 2021.
The Conway County Regional Water Distribution District reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any and all Bids. Bids shall remain firm for a period not to exceed 60 days from the Bid opening date.
