Request for Statements of Qualification
RFQ 24-01, Construction Manager Services for Batesville Water and Wastewater System Improvements
The City of Batesville is accepting statements of qualifications from construction management firms licensed to do business within the State of Arkansas to provide, services as a construction management at risk (CMAR) for the following sub-projects:
• Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation
• Water and Sewer Line Extension to Industrial Property and Construction of a New Meter Vault
• Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Improvements
Professional services required include:
1. Ensure all funds are spent in accordance with State of Arkansas Procurement Laws
2. Lump Sum and Unit Price construction
3. Cost Estimating
4. Sub-contractor bidding
5. Project and change order pricing
6. Schedule control
7. Cost reduction and control
8. Project coordination
9. Project close out
10. Warranty
Those who propose to submit a statement of qualification must request a full RFQ packet from the Batesville City Clerk’s office at info@batesvillearkansas.gov .
To be considered, statements of qualification shall be received at the Batesville City Clerk’s Office, Batesville Municipal Building, 500 East Main Street, Batesville, AR 72501 on April 18, 2024 at 2:00PM. All questions regarding the process should be directed to Damon Johnson, City Engineer at Damon.Johnson@BatesvilleArkansas.gov .
Statements of qualification submitted shall be qualified to do business and licensed in accordance with all applicable laws of the state and local governments where the project is located.
Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated §22-9-203 The City of Batesville encourages qualified small, minority and women business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. Also, City of Batesville encourages all general contractors to solicit portions of their contract to qualified small, minority and women business enterprises.
The City of Batesville reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities therein, and all proposers shall agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the City of Batesville for any damage or claim brought by any Proposer because of such rejections, nor shall the Proposers seek any recourse of any kind against the City of Batesville because of such rejections. The filing of any Proposal in response to this invitation shall constitute an agreement of the Proposer to these conditions.
