INVITATION TO BID
Separate sealed physical bids for Nob Hill Water System Improvements, Project No. 2020012A, will be received by Springdale Water Utilities at 526 Oak Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72764 until 10:30 a.m. (local time), on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024, at which time and location bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids shall be addressed “Springdale Water Utilities, 526 Oak Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72764” and shall be labeled “Bid for Nob Hill Water System Improvements, Project No. 2020012A”. Bidders shall include their Arkansas license number on the outside of their sealed bids. Any bid received after the scheduled opening time will be returned unopened.
This project includes the replacement of a potable water pump, relocation of a standby generator, installation of electromagnetic flow meters and a control valve, construction of concrete vaults, construction of access road improvements, and installation of automatic transfer switch and electrical pump control improvements.
The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and other contract documents must be downloaded through Quest Construction Data Network. This can be done via link on www.hawkins-weir.com/bidding-info and/or at www.QuestCDN.com . QuestCDN is a web-based platform for advertisements, bid document distribution, plan holder lists, and all information pertaining to the bid. Prospective Bidders should register at www.QuestCDN.com for a free ‘Regular’ membership. Enter Quest number 9074751 to access bidding information on the search page. There is a $22.00 non-refundable download delivery fee for a PDF copy (electronic) of the bidding documents. Bidders are responsible for any reproduction costs of the purchased contract documents. Bids will not be accepted from any Prospective Bidder who has not purchased contract documents through Quest CDN. Bidders will be required to inform themselves of all Addenda duly issued in accordance with the requirements provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Information regarding the number of Addenda that have been duly issued can be obtained from QuestCDN.
Each Bidder must deposit with their Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
All Bidders must be licensed in conformance with the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Commercial Contractors as defined in Arkansas Code 17-25-101 and related statutes.
The Springdale Water Utilities reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any and all Bids. Bids shall remain firm for a period not to exceed 60 days from the Bid opening date.
This publication was paid for by Springdale Water Utilities, and the cost of the publication is $483.56, per Arkansas Code 14-55-208 and related statutes.
