Point of Care Patient Testing Software

The Surgical Pathology Department of SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University (hereinafter referred to as “SUNY DHSU”) currently operates a comprehensive software package to facilitate the reporting and documentation of patient results at EMR. The current package supports the laboratory LIS system, connection with NOVA Net (FS Glucose testing), Siemens Clinitek Status (urine pregnancy, urine analysis) iSTAT (ACT/PT-INR testing) and Epoc blood gas analysis. The package additionally provides support for POC devices, interface with existing equipment, software and ambulatory subscription services.

As a result of SUNY DHSU’s ongoing need for point of care patient testing, SUNY DHSU seeks a five (5) year agreement for a comparable software package and attendant support services for the proposed period of 9/1/2024 to 8/31/2029.

The software package to include the following components:

License Purchase Agreement (LPA) for the purchase of the software license.

Software Support Agreement (SSA) for support services during the term and any requisite

Sub License Agreement (SLA) for the i-STAT software.
