Joint Bus Procurement

For

Heavy Duty Diesel, Battery Electric and Hybrid Buses

GoTriangle is requesting responsive and responsible BIDS for the manufacture and delivery of transit design diesel, battery electric and hybrid buses and optional equipment.

GoTriangle, serving as the Lead Agency (herein referred to as “Lead Agency”), along with the City of Durham (herein referred to as “GoDurham”) and the Town of Chapel Hill (herein referred to as ToCH) intend to purchase heavy duty 30’, 35’, 40’, 60’ (Articulated) low floor transit buses with options of diesel, hybrid, battery electric propulsion systems, which by the selection of specifically identified alternative configuration, optional equipment and identified spare parts over the course of five (5) year contract period. These three organizations are collectively known as the “Procuring Agencies.”

Bidders shall submit sealed Bids in one (1) original and six (6) copies with two (2) electronic Adobe readable PDF versions in transferable CD/memory stick format. Please be advised that any information that is required to be entered in to an MS Excel file must be returned in Excel format. Address envelope and insert Bid number as shown below.

Bids shall be received by April 7, 2023 at 3:00 pm EST
