The City of Brunswick, Georgia will be receiving separate sealed Bids for all material, labor and

equipment for the “Albany Street Drainage Improvements”. This includes approximately 773 SY

Concrete Sidewalks, 2,922 LF Concrete Curb & Gutter, 1,550 LF Concrete Storm

Drainage Piping w/ Drainage Structures, 5,128 SY 1.5” Deep Asphalt Pavement Milling,

606 TN Asphalt Concrete Superpave Pavement, 7,637 LF Solid Thermoplastic and

(Removal of 14 Exist. Drainage Structures, 1,909 LF Exist. Storm Pipes, 1,430 SY Concrete

Sidewalk and 2,721 LF Curb & Gutter) with all related accessories as shown on the plans and

called for in the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications. Bids shall be based on Unit Price

Items.

The project shall be Substantially Complete within 270 calendar days from the date of notice to

proceed of the contract.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on March 27, 2024 at 525

Lakewood Ave., Brunswick, GA 31520. All interested parties are invited to attend.

The City of Brunswick will receive bids until 10:00 AM on April 17, 2024 at 525 Lakewood Ave.,

Brunswick, GA 31520. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and

publicly read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Bidder questions shall be made in writing addressed to Goodwyn Mills Cawood, LLC, 6120

Powers Ferry Rd. NW, Suite 200, Atlanta, Georgia 30339, or emailed to

richard.johnson@gmcnetwork.com.

Each BIDDER must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of 5%, and shall be subject to the

conditions provided in Section 00200 “INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS.”

No BIDDER may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date of Bid opening.

Each Bidder is required to submit a “Bid form”, “Bid Bond”, “Form of Qualification of Bidder”,

“Non-Collusion Affidavit” and “Immigration and Security Form” as outlined in Section 00250.

This contract is GEFA and SPLOST funded. The Contractor must comply with: MBE, WBE, &

EEO compliance; Davis Bacon and Related Acts and wage rate determination.

The City of Brunswick reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities, or to reject any

or all bids and to readvertise.
