Huron Mountain Club (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

WASTEWATER PUMPING SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS

H190-03237

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the issuing office located at 100 Portage Street,

Houghton, Michigan 49931, until November 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM local time. At that time the Bids received will be

privately opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work: Installation of concrete sewer wetwell and drywell, dewatering, sewer

pumps and controls, septic tanks, sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manhole, and associated items.

OBTAINING THE BIDDING DOCUMENTS

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is:

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between

the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Eastern time, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as

described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer

will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the

Issuing Office.

Bidding documents also may be examined at the following Builder Exchanges: Delta County, Iron Mountain, Hurley, Marquette,

McGraw -Hill Dodge, Construction Association of Michigan; and U.P. Engineers & Architects office at 100 Portage Street,

Houghton, Michigan 49931 on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office by paying a deposit of $150.00

non-refundable handling fee for each set of contract documents. Alternatively, bidding documents are available as

portable document format (PDF) files for a non-refundable charge of $50.00. Make deposit checks for Bidding

Documents payable to U.P. Engineers & Architects, Inc.

A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Thursday November 2nd, 2023 at 11:00 AM Eastern time at the

Huron Mountain Club Administration Office; Big Bay, MI 49808. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is

encouraged but not required.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
