Bid Questions
Question I know there are two pricing tiers listed. If proposed task seating falls into one of these two price brackets at the start of the contract, will ISU still keep these chairs as options for employees if over time they go over the current price of the tier limit (due to potential price increases)?
Answer The price tiers are to ensure we have a good selection in each price range for selection, if the chair goes over the price tier limit we will continue keep the chair on contract until the end of the term of the contract.

Question The Contract Term states a period of 3 years with dates listed as January 1, 2024-December 31,2027. That is actually a period of 4 years. Do you mean contact would be until December 31, 2026, or are you wanting the contract in place for a period of 4 years?
Answer
Yes, the end date should be December 31, 2026. I will correct by issuing an addendum.

Question Good Morning,

Will submissions for Delivery Only be considered?

Will tailgate delivery be acceptable?

Respectfully,

Matt
Answer
Yes, delivery is required as part of this contract. Tailgate delivery would be acceptable when delivery is to our Central Receiving facility. Please see section below from the specifications:

F.O.B and Delivery

All proposals must be F.O.B. destination and include the cost of materials, assembly, labor, insurance, freight in the cost of the chair. The delivery location will be stated on each resulting purchase order. Awarded Contractor will deliver/ship the chairs to ISU Central Receiving and then ISU Central Receiving will deliver the chair to the department or the Contractor will delivery the chair to each individual department. Contractor will need to note in their proposal if there will be any additional charge for delivery to a specific building versus a ISU Central Receiving.
