The City of Punta Gorda will be receiving sealed submittal responses at the Procurement Office, 126 Harvey Street, 2nd
Floor, Punta Gorda, FL 33950 from qualified bidders for:
SCOPE: City of Punta Gorda is preparing for future Disasters by entering into Pre-Event Agreements for Debris
Removal/Management Services and Ancillary Preparation/Recovery Services. The City will accept proposals from qualified
contractors with experience in disaster and debris removal services and the preparation, response, recovery, and mitigation
phases of any emergency situation or disaster. It is the intent of City of Punta Gorda to award this contract to one (1) Tier 1
Contractor and one (1) or more Tier 2 Contractor(s). The Contractor(s) will be responsible for all debris operations and
recovery services listed within this solicitation. The City reserves the right to activate pre-event multiple contractors at the
same time dependent upon the severity of the storm and the availability of the contractors.
Solicitation Package Protest deadline: April 9, 2024, at 3:00 pm ET
NON-Mandatory Pre-submittal Conference: April 10, 2024, at 10:00 am ET at Procurement Conference Room, 126
Harvey St – 2nd Floor, Punta Gorda, FL
Inquiry and Clarification Request deadline: April 15, 2024 at 3:00 pm ET
Submittal due date and time: April 18, 2024 at 3:00 PM ET or as may be amended by the subsequent issuance of
addenda. Submittal packages will be opened in public at 126 Harvey Street, 2nd Floor, Punta Gorda, FL.
Solicitation documents may be obtained through www.pgorda.com – Open Bids for City of Punta Gorda, Title:
R2023106/SVC-DEBRISMANAGE/2324. Vendor registration is free. All questions shall be submitted in writing via email
to the Procurement contact. The City will not address any questions/inquiries submitted on-line concerning this solicitation
posted on www.publicpurchase.com, www.thebluebook.com or any other website.

solicitation with the City’s Procurement Division through the website by viewing the On-Line Solicitation AND accept receipt of
each document attached to the solicitation. This will place the Bidder on the notification list for any forthcoming addendum or
other official communications. Failure to register as a prospective Bidder and/or accept receipt of each document may cause your
Submittal Package to be rejected as non-responsive if you have submitted a Submittal Package without City issued forms and/or
acknowledgment of issued addenda and/or meet the Solicitation Package requirements as provided by the City.
