Cadence Preschool Construction

The City of Henderson, Nevada, is soliciting responses from qualified construction managers/general contractors (“Proposer”) for the performance of Construction Manager at Risk (“CMAR”) services for the construction of a preschool of approximately 30,000 square feet and eight (8) classrooms. The building will be located in the Cadence area at the SE corner of Scarhill Track Avenue and Black Palace Street, Henderson, Nevada 89011.

Pre-construction services shall include active participation in the design process including constructability reviews; construction cost estimates at 90% and 100%; system and unit price costing for subcategories of work; advice; project analysis and feedback regarding materials, methods, systems. Services also include schedule development, descriptions of long lead time items, analysis and expertise relating to labor and other conditions affecting construction and subcontractor selection for development and construction of the Project. CMAR to assist in all ways possible to achieve the project goals. At the completion of design, the CMAR shall follow Nevada Revised Statute (NRS) requirements for delivering a Guaranteed Maximum Price.

The City’s construction estimate is $15,000,000.00, therefore Nevada State Prevailing Wage Rates will apply.
