The scope of work for RIC 2024-CH-002 - Pavement Improvements ? East Main Road will consist of roadway rehabilitation and resurfacing measures along the East Main Road corridor in the Town of Middletown, Rhode Island. The roadway work encompassed in this contract includes but is not limited to, milling of the existing pavement and overlaying with a new surface course, concrete base and joint repairs as needed, removal and installation of new concrete curb, replacement of existing sections of sidewalk and construction of new sidewalk, reconstruction of pedestrian curb ramps to ensure ADA-compliancy. Other work includes the adjustments and rebuilding of drainage structures, adjustment of utility castings to grade, installation of new drainage structures and pipes, signal improvements, project-wide installation of sediment and erosion controls, maintenance and protection of traffic, pavement markings, signage and all other incidentals needed to complete the work.
