These Specifications are intended to cover the furnishing, delivery, and set up of bypass pumping or pump-around equipment rentals with or without an operator for Anne Arundel County Departments, as listed in this Solicitation. All equipment delivered shall be completely serviced by the Successful Bidder and shall be delivered ready in all aspects to be placed in normal and/or emergency operating services. The principal County Agency using this Contract will be the Bureau of Utility Operations whose primary responsibility is managing the County’s water and wastewater collection systems. Equipment shall be required for routine, scheduled work, and also in emergency situations on an as-needed basis. Equipment shall be required when the County equipment is out of service for repair or for temporary use during special events or other occasional circumstances. The time frame for rentals shall vary from daily to multiple months.
