DESCRIPTION:



Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Uzbekistan will launch the solicitation on the https://uz.usembassy.gov/embassy/tashkent/procurement-and-contracting/ website when it is available.



All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. The Government plans to issue the solicitation on November 14, 2024.



The Embassy of the United States of America, Tashkent is seeking a contractor who will provide a high-quality English language program for its local hired employees. The contractor will be responsible for:



 Managing group of professional, high quality English language teachers; Ensuring classes start on time



 Address all aspects of communication through appropriate instruction that develops each student’s ability to read, write, speak, and listen in the appropriate content area



 Advising students on self-study strategies; providing students with materials and tasks to be used / done outside of class in order to maximize the educational experience; managing a small library of materials that will be covered by Embassy funds



 Adapts curriculum to fit student needs while maintaining overall class progress



 Ensure that students understand and can demonstrate different levels of mastery of the language, from writing and speaking to discussing topics using the foreign language as the mode of communication



 Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning



 Implementing an evaluation system once every 3 months that highlights the strengths and weaknesses of the program.





Advance payments are not authorized.



Successful offerors shall be registered with the SAM (accessed through www.sam.gov) prior to contract award.



Again, this solicitation will be issued via this website - no paper copies will be mailed.



The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.

All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
