Synopsis
The Missouri Department of Transportation, St. Louis District, has determined that only Daktronics, Inc. can provide DMS (Dynamic Message Sign) replacement parts, technical support, and warranty for the upkeep of the St. Louis District ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) system and are essential for synchronization with the existing highway facilities. These parts are only able to be purchased from Daktronics as well as repairing broken devices. Currently, MoDOT - St. Louis District has 32 of these Color DMS boards and will need to make purchases for parts and repairs in the future for the effective life of these boards, approximately 15 years. This notice shall meet the single feasible source requirements for one calendar year and in association with the needs described. Contract Period: August 1, 2025 - July 31, 2026.
