NAVSUP FLCSI Naples Detachment issuing a Notice for Ship Check the the anticipated Force Generation Risk Reduction which includes a Regular Overhaul (ROH), a Lay berth and a Mid Term Availability (MTA) of the USS LEWIS B. PULLER (T-ESB 3). The anticipated package will include maintenance and inspections necessary for the ship to maintain its American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and other certifications. The anticipated period of performance is 28 May 2025 through 30 September 2026.
All repair work shall be accomplished at the prospective awardee’s facility and a dry-dock will be required. The location of the prospective awardee’s facility shall be restricted to the Command Sixth Fleet (C6F) Area of Operations (AOR).
PLEASE BE ADVISED this Notice is issued in accordance with FAR 5.203(a) and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract.
Proposals and/or questions will not be accepted at this time.
A formal solicitation will be posted electronically on EuroNECO (https://euro.neco.navy.mil/) and the System for Award Management (https://www.SAM.gov) following the ship check. The solicitation will include instructions for submitting proposals and questions.
Ship Check:
The Ship check will occur on the sister ship USS HERSHEL "WOODY" WILLIAMS (ESB-4) on 21 November 2024 at 9:00 a.m. Central European Time at Taranto, Italy. If potential Offerors have additional questions, additional hours will be available the morning of 22 November 2024. A maximum of three (3) attendees per company will be allowed to attend the ship check. Potential offerors shall submit a photo of the passport for each attendee and the full name and address of the company each attendee is associated with. If an attendee intends to drive onto the pier, vehicle make/model and plate number are also required.
A request to attend the ship check with the required documentation must be submitted no later than 4 November 2024 at 3:00p.m.

Ship checks are not mandatory. However, it is in the best interest of potential offerors to conduct a ship check prior to submission of their proposals. In the event an offeror conducts a ship check, the U.S. Government will not reimburse the offeror for any cost associated with the ship check.
