Street Resurfacing

The City of Bowie, Maryland requests bids from qualified and experienced paving contractors for the installation of approximately 117,000 square yards of Hot Mix Resurfacing and 117,000 square yards of Cold Milling on various streets within the corporate limits of the City of Bowie, MD. Complete specifications and bid documents may be obtained at no cost through Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/details/5746_Fy27_Street_Resurfacing . Registration to use Bid Locker is at https://bidlocker.us/Account/Signup and is free to all interested parties.

The Contractor is required to use its best efforts to comply with the Community Workforce Agreement/Compliance.

Electronic (pdf) bids will be received through Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/details/5746_Fy27_Street_Resurfacing until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. The City of Bowie reserves the right to reject any bids.

Interested bidders are encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting scheduled on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the Public Works Streets/Utilities Building located at 16500 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD  20715.

All questions or requests for clarifications regarding this Invitation for Bids are required to be submitted through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/5746_Fy27_Street_Resurfacing .  Deadline for inquiries is 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Written responses to all questions and/or clarifications will be issued as an addendum to the solicitation no later than Friday, April 24, 2026, to all those who have registered with Bid Locker and downloaded the specifications and bid documents.

The City encourages certified disadvantaged business entities to submit a bid.
