Project Title: Network Sniffer Purchase

1. Introduction

These speciﬁcations are for the acquisition of a hardware and software solution that

will analyze Commonwealth network traffic. These speciﬁcations outline the

objectives, scope, deliverables, timeline, and responsibilities for the procurement and

installation of a network sniffer solution. This solution will be used to analyze network

traffic, identify bottlenecks, and enhance network performance and security monitoring

capabilities.

2. Objectives

The objective of this procurement is to procure a commercial-off-the-shelf network

sniffer hardware and software solution, with incidental installation services, training

and maintenance.

3. Specification

3.1.Network Analyzer Solution

The bidder shall provide a solution consisting of hardware and software, including

any necessary ﬁrmware, that will analyze traffic data and meets or exceed the

following minimum technical performance requirements.
