Will a temporary fence be required around the jobsite?
Yes, temporary fence will be required around work area.
On the dead-end pipe that is to be removed, what is expected to be placed at the surface once the line is dug up, gravel? Asphalt?
The area where the pipe is currently in the project site for Building 42, that area is planned to be asphalt. Prepare to replace with Asphalt to match depth of what is dug up.
As far as the walkway that must be removed, do we replace with 12x12 pavers as close to the existing design as possible only the ones that are broken when removed? Or are we to replace them all? Do you want an alternate bid with replacing them with concrete?
Replace the entire walkway with new 12x12 concrete pavers with new subbase. Ensure pavers are even with curbs.
Who is responsible for locating the other VA utilities? The VA or the contractor?Â
The contractor is responsible for locating VA and Public utilities in the area.

What are acceptable work hours? During the day/week?  This is preferred of course however if it must be performed during the weekend we just would like to know.
Works hours would be Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 4:00pm.
