Brief Description of Supplies/ Services required and the intended use/Estimated Amount:

The Fayetteville VAMC is requesting preventative maintenance services on their anesthesia machines.
Estimated Cost: $62,713.00.

Unique characteristics that limit availability to only one source, with the reason no other supplies or services can be used:

The Fayetteville VAMC is requesting preventative maintenance services on the anesthesia machines, for the Anesthesiology department. All equipment must pass inspections to prevent delays in patient care.

Description of market research conducted and results or statement why it was not conducted:

The VA Rule of two cannot be met. An intent to sole source was posted to Sam.gov on 11/18/24, with a response date of 11/21/24. Three (3) vendors Datex Ohmeda (LB,OEM), Imed Biomedical, Inc. (SDVOSB), and Arcabel Solutions (SDB) responded with capabilities in providing services for the requirement. Datex Ohmeda is the sole manufacturer and OEM.
