SALE ADVERTISEMENT

Shasta 24/25 Timber Sale

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Forest Service is seeking sealed bids for the sale of timber. This is a clearcut of approximately 255 acres of loblolly pine in two areas on Blackwater River State Forest in Okaloosa County, Florida (SFI Certified Forest #NSF-SFI-FM-CO245755). Area 1 is approximately 27 acres and Area 2 is approximately 228 acres in size. All loblolly pine timber within the sale boundaries is available for harvest. Estimated volumes are as follows: 7,634 tons of pine pulpwood, 2,544 tons of pine super pulpwood, 741 tons of pine chip-n-saw, and 210 tons of pine sawtimber. Sale area boundaries are marked with double dots of orange paint. This will be a twelve (12) month contract. The Florida Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in bids received.
