Description
This project includes site development to support construction such as dredging, debris removal, installation of sheet piles, and bridge protection measures. The contract includes the site development of Ciudad Deportiva Roberto Clemente (CDRC) Material Management Area (MMA), dredging of the Aquatic Disposal Pit (ADP) SJ1A with disposal at ADPs SJ2A, SJ3, and SJ4/5, dredging of 3,000 meters-long access channel across San Jos� Lagoon (SJL), bridge fenders to protect the concrete piers of the Moscoso Bridge near the SJL access channel, dredging of 450 meters-long transition channel between main channel and SJL access channel, dredging of 900 meters long main channel from the Barbosa bridge to San Jose Lagoon transition channel as a wall-stabilized channel composed of steel sheet pile walls with concrete cap along main channel with natural bottom, and construction of an approximately 61 meters-long riprap channel at the Barbosa Bridge to protect the foundation from scour associated with reestablishing flow through the CMP.
