NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS: This contract action is for products and services for which the Government intends to solicit from only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to issue a sole source solicitation, W912CH-24-R-0089, restricted to Northrop Grumman Corporation (NG), Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) 8KP69, 3309 N Reseda Co 1, Mesa, Arizona 85215-9103, for the delivery of XM913 Logistics (Log) Products.
The solicitation will be for a new, two-year Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Requirements contract with no options. The acquisition of XM913 is for the development of Log Products of the GUN, AUTOMATIC, 50 MILLIMETERS: chain, XM913 (XM913). The Log Products will result in a preliminary- Maintenance Integrated Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) to support the integration of the XM913 into the XM30 combat vehicle.
This is a pre-solicitation notice, otherwise known as a synopsis. The solicitation pertaining to this notice will not be available for a minimum of 15 days from the date of this notice. Offerors shall not contact the Procuring Contracting Officer or Contract Specialist (or any other Government representative) seeking a copy of the solicitation (or other data), as the information will not be available until the final solicitation is issued.
Use of Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) – Solicitation Module. The Government intends to require proposal submission via the PIEE - Solicitation Module. PIEE is available at https://piee.eb.mil. Offerors will be required to be registered in PIEE and have the appropriate access/user role for the Solicitation module within PIEE. Prospective offerors are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to initiate PIEE registration (if not already registered) and initiate requests for appropriate access/user roles in the Solicitation module as soon as possible.
