Water Tank Maintenance Services

The City of Bowie, Maryland requests proposals from professional water tank maintenance firms to provide water tank maintenance services for three (3) water storage tanks located in Bowie, Maryland.

The work shall be consistent with the Scope of Services contained in this Request for Proposals (RFP).  By submission of a bid, the bidder represents that it is able to comply with all requirements contained in the RFP.

All questions or requests for clarifications regarding this RFP are required to be submitted through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/4403_Water_Tank_Maintenance_Services ,  prior to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024.  Written responses to all questions and/or requests for clarifications will be issued no later than Thursday, October 24, 2024, to all those who have expressed interest in this RFP through the Bid Locker platform.

A non-mandatory site visit will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 11:00a.m.  Please report to the Water Treatment Plant at 2912 Bradford Lane, Bowie, Maryland.

Bids shall be submitted electronically to the City through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/4403_Water_Tank_Maintenance_Services , prior to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. Any interested party may register with Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/Account/Signup at no cost and access the solicitation documents. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via a virtual meeting. A link to join the meeting will be emailed to all parties who have registered with Bid Locker regarding this RFP.  All blanks on each form provided by the City in connection with this RFP must be filled in, and no change shall be made to any part of the text of the form.

Prospective bidders that obtain this document from any source other than Bid Locker, should immediately register with Bid Locker to ensure receipt of addenda and other communications regarding this solicitation.

Each bidder or prospective bidder must refer to the Bid Locker website for any available amendments, addenda, cancellations, and additional information regarding this RFP.
