Description

The 60th MXS has a requirement to procure a Stationary On-Demand Nitrogen Generation System to replace an end-of-life unit and support tire maintenance operations. The contractor shall provide a self-generating gaseous nitrogen generation plant capable of producing a dry nitrogen product at a purity level 99.5% at a rate of a minimum 14 Standard Cubic Feet per Minute (SCFM) with the ability to boost outlet pressure up to 500 psig or higher with a holding tank(s) storage capacity of at a minimum: 1,000 cubic feet of nitrogen at 500 psig or greater. This system must meet all minimum specifications outlined in the Statement of Work, including producing 99.5% pure nitrogen, and includes a 2-year warranty on all parts and labor. The effort must be completed within 12 weeks of the award, and the contractor will be responsible for qualifying all Wheel and Tire technicians on the new system's setup, use, inspection, and maintenance.
