City of Sonoma Seeks Bids for West Spain Street Rehabilitation Project (CIP T-11)

The City of Sonoma is inviting sealed bids for the West Spain Street Rehabilitation Project (CIP T-11).

This project generally involves pavement maintenance and localized repair work along West Spain Street, primarily between Third Street West and First Street West, with additional isolated repairs between Sonoma Highway and Junipero Serra Drive. Improvements will include:

• Surface preparation and crack sealing
• Removal and/or replacement of pavement striping, markings, and signage
• Protection or adjustment of existing utility structures
• Hot mix asphalt grinding, replacement, and/or overlay paving
• Traffic control and related work

The purpose of the project is to maintain streets in fair-to-good condition and improve roadway safety for residents and visitors. The Engineer’s Estimate for this project is $495,000.

• Contractor License: Bidders must hold a valid Class A Contractor’s License.
• Questions Deadline: Technical questions may be submitted until Friday, August 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
• Bid Deadline: Sealed bids must be submitted online by Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
