This Presolicitation Notice is for informational purposes. GPO intends to issue an Unrestricted Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about December 5, 2024 for a design/build project. A site visit will be identified in the RFP when published on SAM.gov.
A draft Statement of Work and an exhibit are appended to this notice.
GPO is NOT requesting any submissions in response to this notice.
The Secure & Intelligent Documents (SID) requires a Design-Build (DB) project to repair/renovate building A 5th floor room A-501 at the Government Publishing Office (GPO) complex located in Washington DC.
The successful offeror will develop a full, realized design based off the provided conceptual drawing (see Attachment 2). The Contractor will also perform the required repairs and renovations for the facility to be utilized as a new Smart Card Reader manufacturing hub.
Repair and Renovation should include all systems (HVAC, Electrical, Architecture of the interior and exterior, Fire Protection, and Security) in accordance with the applicable codes of National Design and Construction standards.
