General Notice:
The City of Ocean Springs (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS ON WASHINGTON AVENUE
FROM LAFONTAINE AVENUE TO FRONT BEACH DRIVE
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Office of the City Clerk located at 1018 Porter
Avenue, Ocean Springs, MS 39564, until Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. and the Bids received will
be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
The removal of existing drainage infrastructure and installation of a new box culvert across Washington
Avenue, including elevation of the existing roadway, repaving for the new roadway, and replacement of
existing utilities.
Bids are requested for the following Contract: DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS ON WASHINGTON AVENUE
FROM LAFONTAINE AVENUE TO FRONT BEACH DRIVE

Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website:
www.oceanspringsbids.com or www.neel-schafferplans.com
Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders must register with the
designated website as a plan holder. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. The
designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other
information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding
Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for
Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. All bid
documents must be purchased through the website. The cost of bid documents is non-refundable. For information
regarding online orders for the purchase of original paper copies and the website registration, please contact Plan
House Printing at 228-248-0181. For information regarding this project, contact Neel-Schaffer’s office at 228-696-
2649 in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

A Pre-Bid Conference if necessary, will be scheduled by Addendum.
