What size is the conference table top? Approx.. 9 x 8 long but all furniture will be assembled/installed in the area provided in the floor plan
Is the elevator at the location 1046 Mar Walt Drive, 3rd Floor, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547 large enough to accommodate the conference tabletop or is it expected to manually lift and carry up the flight of stairs? Is there a possibility of a service elevator? Furniture will be installed on the 3rd floor and there is an elevator to move the furniture. How detailed of a timeline is expected for assembly with the submittals? Reference the SOW. Delivery within 5 days and assembly and installation within 5 days. There will not be any submittals. Contractor is to pick up furniture, deliver, assemble and install. What constitutes an experienced supervisor? Experience with assembly and installation of System style furniture. in accordance with the SOW Assembly and installation supervision shall be handled by an experienced on-site supervisor trained by the manufacturer or certified designee.
In the event of award and government funding lapse, will I and team be able to access location to assemble furniture? reference SOW. When furniture is delivered it MUST be installed/assembled inside the building The dimensions of the F-4 Electric Sit/Stand desk and F-5 Stationary Desk. F-4 24 x48 , F-5 24 x72 approximate
Are both of them straight, L-shaped or U-shaped?  Straight
Do you know the date the move needs to occur? Within 15 days of award
Installation supervision shall be handled by an experienced on-site supervisor trained by the manufacturer or certified designee. The furniture system installers shall have the following qualifications: A minimum of two (2) years of successful experience in the installation of the proposed furniture; and Certification and ongoing factory training by the manufacturer.
The RFI does not state who the manufacturer is nor are we trained by a manufacturer. But we have been installing furniture for nearly 30 years. Does this make us ineligible to bid on this project? The furniture is manufactured by Steelcase
