The contractor shall provide all supervision, personnel, materials, containers, tools and training necessary to provide safe removal, transportation and disposal of all regulated medical waste in compliance with all current local, state and federal regulations.
Regulated medical waste may include but is not limited to isolation waste, cultures and stocks of infectious agents associated biological human blood and blood products, pathological waste, contaminated sharps, miscellaneous laboratory waste, discarded dressings, and contaminated linen or disposable linen substitutes. Waste may also include expired sample drugs and bio-hazardous waste.
