Title: Scranton Connector Sidewalk Improvements

This is an invitation to submit a bid to the Glynn County Board of Commissioners for the Scranton Connector Sidewalk Improvement Project. The successful Bidder shall provide all skill, labor, material, and equipment to install approximately 2,500 linear feet of 5'x4" concrete sidewalk to include ADA ramps, Crosswalk Striping, curb and gutter and concrete flumes in accordance with the construction plans and specifications attached here-in. The work will include but is not limited to single lane closure, traffic control, grading, clearing, demo, saw cutting of existing concrete and asphalt, storm pipe and structure installation, crosswalk installation with signage, installation and maintenance of erosion and sediment control best management practices, sidewalk construction, backfill, dressing and grassing. All work shall be in accordance with the Technical Specifications and the construction drawings provided herein. All material shall conform to the specifications contained in the Technical Specifications.
This project involves the construction of a new pedestrian sidewalk corridor that will span the distance between Altama Connector and Scranton Connector, two major roadways within the local transportation network. The sidewalk will fill a key infrastructure gap in the pedestrian network, creating a continuous, safe route for residents, and workers traveling between residential neighborhoods and retail areas.
