NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Raymond, Mississippi, will receive written sealed bids until the

hour of 1:30 pm local time on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at the office of the City of Raymond located at

110 Courtyard Square, Raymond, MS 39154 for the furnishing of all labor and materials, and for

performing all activities specified in the Contract Documents, for the construction of the Elevated Tank

Rehabilitation .

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 1:30 pm, local time, on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at the office of

the City of Raymond.

The project includes the Rehabilitation of two elevated water tanks The Contract Time will be

Two Hundred Forty (240) consecutive calendar days, and the liquidated damages will be $200 per

consecutive calendar day thereafter.

Plans, contract documents and proposal forms are on file for public inspection in the office of the

City of Raymond, 110 Courtyard Square, Raymond, MS 39154, and in the office of the Engineer, WGK,

Inc., 204 W. Leake Street, Clinton, MS 39060 (601-925-4444). All documents required for bidding

purposes, including specifications and plans, may be viewed for free at www.wgkengineersprojects.com.

Documents may be downloaded for a non-refundable charge of $75. Hard Copies are also available for

ordering online for a non-refundable fee. For questions regarding the website or online orders contact

Bids for this work will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom the Contract

Documents and Addenda, if any, have been issued by the Engineer. Bids received by bidders to whom

the Contract Documents were not issued by the Engineer will be returned unopened.

State law requires a non-resident bidder to attach/include a copy of his resident state’s current

law pertaining to such state’s treatment of non-resident contractors with their bid. Any bid submitted by

a non-resident contractor which does not include the non-resident contractor’s current state law shall be

rejected and not considered for award.

All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the hour of 1:30 pm, local time on Tuesday,

February 17, 2026 at the office of the City of Raymond located at 110 Courtyard Square, Raymond, MS

39154. Bids will be considered by the City of Raymond at or before the next regular meeting thereof to be

held within thirty (30) days of the date of receipt of bids.

The City of Raymond reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in the bidding and to reject

any and all bids.
