Summary

The Ohio Department of Health Bureau of Public Health Laboratory (BPHL), is seeking proposals from a qualified vendor to support its Alcohol and Drug Testing (ADT) Program by providing essential testing supplies, including but not limited to dry gas, mouthpieces, and O-rings, for statewide use with the I-8000 breath alcohol instruments.

BPHL's Alcohol and Drug Testing Program (ADT) provides the supplies (e.g., dry gas, mouth pieces, and O-rings) for alcohol and drug testing for the State of Ohio.

These supplies are used for OVI enforcement in Ohio by State of Ohio Police Officers, Correction Officers, and State Highway Patrol.  Additionally, these supplies are required items to meet OAC 3701-53-01 through 10 to maintain the instruments and train our stakeholders.

The manufacturer will need to provide standardization, continuity of program services and admissibility in court.  Current bench law needs  to recognize this product and manufacturer as standard for ODH operations under OAC 3701-53-01 through 10.
