The Corps of Engineers has a requirement for replacement of the asphalt shingles on Building 265 at Fort Riley, Kansas to photovoltaic (PV) shingles. The building is single-story, built in 1904, and is considered a historic facility. It requires solar shingles roof to demonstrate the efficiency and reliability, and associated resilience of advanced photovoltaic (PV) shingles.
The work of this contract is to replace the existing building asphalt shingles with solar (PV) shingles and associated monitoring systems. All installation work shall be completed 85 days after contract award. The work includes (but not limited to) the following:
The anticipated Magnitude of Construction in accordance with FAR 36.204 is between $100,000 and $250,000.
This is not a small business set aside, nor is it a request for competitive quotations. Any interested party that believes they can fulfill this requirement should submit a capability statement to be reviewed by the date listed in this notice. All submissions will be considered.
