The requirement is for the providing of health/medical insurance services to the Locally hired employees of the United States Mission. The estimated number of employees is approximately 186 with approximately 248 eligible dependents.
Please note these are only estimated quantities. The anticipated performance period is for one year. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The solicitation will be issued via https://beta.sam.gov/
The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract with economic price adjustment.
The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.
All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
